The Parent Teacher Organization exists to provide support to the faculty, students and parents. They are available to address questions and concerns, as well as, bring fresh ideas for building school spirit and fundraising. PTO meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
As a parent of a student at Heart of Mary School, you are expected to:
Be involved in all aspects of the student’s education
Be financially supportive helping with fundraisers, school events and community service projects.
Be a volunteer at Heart of Mary School because it is vital to its growth. Opportunities for daily service exist in the lunchroom, on the playground and in the classroom. One hour a week can make a difference. A parent’s presence demonstrates interest and support.
Attend Child Protection courses and renew yearly.
School newsletters are sent home monthly to provide updates on current programs and important events
